AUBURN | Auburn’s success in the 2017 football season will depend largely on its 2017 recruiting class.

Key signees will be expected to step in and contribute immediately. They’ll be expected to bolster the roster, strengthen the squad and increase its wins.

Good thing for Auburn, it signed a few such players.

IMPACT SIGNEE: Jarrett Stidham

No members of the 2017 recruiting class has the opportunity to make an impact at Auburn sooner than Stidham.

Stidham is expected to be the starting quarterback when the Tigers open the season Sept. 2 against Georgia Southern. He’s also expected to be the quarterback who leads Auburn back to playing for championships late in the season rather than playing for a better bowl game.
