Derek Turner had planned to be committed to a college before his senior season began. He’d planned to be committed to Auburn.

Turner, a cornerback/athlete from West Feliciana in St. Francisville, La., visited Auburn for three days in July and left with the Tigers at the top of his list of favorites.

But he’ll have to wait before making a commitment.

“Auburn told me that they didn’t have a spot for me right now,” Turner said.
