AUBURN | Rivals250 strongside defensive end Karamo Dioubate remains committed to Penn State following an official visit to Auburn over the weekend.
But the Tigers gave him plenty to consider when he returns to his home in Philadelphia, Penn.
"It was a really good visit," Dioubate said. "They definitely gave me something to think about."
Dioubate and his cousin arrived in Auburn on Friday and left Sunday. It was Dioubate's first visit to Auburn.
"It went well," Dioubate said. "The facilities really stood out. I also liked getting to hang out with the players and coaches. We ate and just hung out. It was a great trip."
The Prep Charter standout spoke with several Auburn coaches, including area recruiter Lance Thompson, defensive line coach Rodney Garner and coach Gus Malzahn. The Tigers currently are without a defensive coordinator.
"I met a lot with Coach Malzahn and we touched on it (defensive coordinator) a little bit," Dioubate said. "He said he would hire a really good coach."
Dioubate, who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 275 pounds, trusts Malzahn.
"It was a really good visit," Dioubate said. "I enjoyed it."
