Recruit Reactions: Auburn 26, Alabama 14

AUBURN | Auburn amassed over 400 yards of offense and the defense gave up just two scores as the Tigers beat No. 1 Alabama, 26-14, in front of a sold-out crowd, including dozens of top recruits.

Here is what several of the recruits had to say about Auburn's second win in two weeks over a No. 1-ranked team.

"I went out onto the field. It was like I was a player, too. Everybody was telling me congratulations. The locker room, I went in there and Coach (Rodney) Garner was really happy and telling me that this is what being a family is all about."

"It was great. It was hype. We came out with the win against the No. 1-ranked team, and I knew we would. I'll be wearing my Auburn gear (Monday at school)."

"It was a great scene. I loved it. I had to rush the field. The locker room was lit. It was intense. They were happy they won. They fought real hard for it, so they deserved it."

"The atmosphere was crazy. It was crazy live. I came into the game thinking we would win, so it was awesome. This can definitely help us (in recruiting)."

"We came out and did what we were supposed to do, which is beat them straight up. We were just better than them. Even though we weren't supposed to, I still rushed the field.

"The atmosphere was way louder than the Georgia game. The atmosphere was amazing."

"I always thought (Auburn) had a chance because they have been rolling this year."

"I liked the game. It was a good game. Auburn is in it for me. This puts Auburn in a good place for me. I liked the game and everything they did."
