AUBURN | Auburn had several of the country's top prospects on campus Saturday to attend the Tigers' annual A-Day game, including a pair of top defensive targets, one a linebacker and the other a safety.
Archer (Lawrenceville, Ga.) linebacker Donta Evans and Park Crossing (Montgomery, Ala.) safety Jeawon Taylor both made the trip to the Plains and left high on Auburn.

On his visit and A-Day…
"It was great. It was like a game atmosphere. Sixty-two thousand fans at a spring game? That's pretty good. The game was really good. I really liked to see guys flying around to the ball."
On talking to the coaches…
"I've been down here a few times and I'm starting to get close with a lot of the coaches, Coach (Will) Muschamp and Coach (Lance) Thompson. Every time I get to talk to those guys our relationship grows and that is an important thing.
"I also talked to Coach (Gus) Malzahn. We have a great relationship, too. We had a real laid-back conversation. It was good. He asked when I was going to make it official."
On when he might 'make it official'…
"I have been to Auburn now three times so they are up there. I feel good about Auburn. I don't want to tell yet because I promised my mom I would wait until my (17th) birthday (Sept. 1)."

On his visit for A-Day…
"There were a lot of people there. I didn't think that many people would show up. I thought the rain would keep them from coming, but it didn't. The game was good. I liked the way Auburn played."
On talking to the coaches…
"I got to talk to Coach T-Rob (Travaris Robinson) and Coach (Gus) Malzahn before the game, and after the game I met with Coach (Will) Muschamp and Coach (Lance) Thompson. They said I would fit great here and that I need to come."
On Auburn, his recruitment and potential offer from Alabama…
"(Alabama) Coach (Kirby) Smart is supposed to come see me in the spring and he might offer then. I would say Auburn (is my leader right now). I know Auburn is short on safeties. They need safeties. But my mom is a big Alabama fan so (Alabama offering) would be a big factor."
