Muschamps 1st stop

Will Muschamp wasn't kidding.

When the former Florida coach was introduced Saturday morning as Auburn's new defensive coordinator, Muschamp said he would start recruiting immediately.
"As soon as we get done and walk out that door, we are going," Muschamp said.
He did. And he went straight to meet with one of the nation's top junior college prospects.
Muschamp, along with Gus Malzahn and cornerbacks coach Melvin Smith, made an off-campus visit Saturday with Gulf Coast Community College four-star cornerback Tony Bridges.
"It went great," Bridges said. "Coach Muschamp seems like a nice guy, a real cool guy. That was my first time to meet him, but I have heard really good things about him.
"As a coach, I already know a lot about him. A lot. He's coached in the SEC, the NFL. He's a great defensive coach."
Bridges, ranked the nation's No. 1 junior college cornerback, was a long-time Auburn commitment before flipping his allegiance to Ole Miss in November.
He's now only four days away from signing (Wednesday), and thought the hard part was behind him. He thought his decision was made.
But after meeting with Muschamp, Malzahn and Smith, he's not so sure.
Bridges, 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, isn't ruling out flipping his commitment back to Auburn. Not with Muschamp now on board.
"He's going to be great for Auburn," Bridges. "And he told me he wanted me to come in and be his guy."
Now Bridges has to decide whether or not he will.
"I don't know what I'm going to do," Bridges said. "I have a few more days to think. I don't know, yet. I'm not going to say anything."
Not until Wednesday.
