AUBURN | Kameron Stutts now has seen and experienced much of what Auburn has to offer.

The offensive guard from Brooks attended a game inside Jordan-Hare Stadium last fall, and on Saturday, he toured the campus and facilities and watched practice while visiting for the Tigers' Junior Day.

“I’ve been to a game, but I wanted to get a feel for the school and see how I felt about it,” Stutts said.

Auburn received positive reviews from Stutts.

“Everything is really nice,” Stutts said. “I really like the campus.”

Stutts also enjoyed spending time with Auburn’s coaches. He met extensively with offensive line coach Herb Hand, and spoke privately with Gus Malzahn.

“I talked to Coach Gus and we had a good conversation,” Stutts said. “He told me how it’s a really close family at Auburn, and how they have really good academics and academic support. And me and Coach Hand talked pretty much all day about different stuff. He talked to me about what it would be like playing at Auburn.”

Auburn has offered Stutts, as have several other schools, including Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Missouri and Virginia Tech. Stutts doesn’t list any favorites, but said Auburn has his attention after Saturday’s visit.

“I’ve been told if there is a school you’re supposed to be at, you can tell and you can feel it, and Auburn is definitely a really nice place that I enjoy being at,” Stutts said. “They run the same offense that we run, which is really nice. It would be easy for me switching over to college.

“I don’t really have a top school, but they are pretty high up there.”

Stutts, doesn’t plan to make a commitment before the fall. He still has several schools to visit.

“It will be sometime during my season, or after,” Stutts said. “I’m not really sure right now.”

Stutts, who is 6-foot-5 and weighs 320 pounds, is scheduled to visit Vanderbilt on March 18 and Ole Miss on March 25.
