Hank Brown is reuniting with Hugh Freeze.
The former Liberty quarterback commit announced his commitment to Auburn on Tuesday, a day after picking up an official offer. Brown had committed to Freeze while at Liberty.
"I am very excited to announce my commitment to play football at Auburn University," Brown said in a Twitter post. "I want to thank Coach Freeze, Coach Austin, Coach Montgomery and the entire Auburn staff for this opportunity."
Brown was considering linking up with his high school coach Trent Dilfer, who took the head coaching job at UAB, but Auburn was the final decision.
Dilfer coached Brown at Lipscomb Academy in Nashville, where he put up eye-popping numbers his senior year while leading the Mustangs to a state title. He threw for 3,264 yards, 47 touchdowns and had three passes intercepted with a completion percentage of 73.3%.
He's the second quarterback in Auburn's 2023 class, joining Miami native Keyone Jenkins.
