Jordyn Peters is a versatile defensive back. The Muscle Shoals standout proved it last Friday.

Peters, who primarily plays safety, worked at cornerback in Muscle Shoals' 24-7 win over Florence.

Peters recorded four tackles, including two solos, and partially blocked a punt in helping the Trojans get their first win of the season. Peters now has 26 tackles, 15 of which are solos, and gotten his hand on two punts.

Season totals: Bishop has rushed 28 times for 374 yards (13.4 avg.) and three touchdowns, and completed 30-of-41 passes (73.2%) for 300 yards with three touchdowns. He also has two interceptions on defense.

Stats: Matthews carried the ball five times for 26 yards and had two receptions for 43 yards.
