CB has Auburn on top, plans visit

McGill-Toolen's Cameron Martin hasn't been to Auburn. He grew up a fan of the Tigers, but never visited the campus, never attended a game.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound cornerback wants to visit. He'd like to learn more about the college, campus and football program.

And he has a good reason for it.
"I received an offer from Auburn last month," said Martin. "I got a letter from them saying they were offering.
"It felt great. I was a little surprised, but it was a great surprise. I was excited. I was happy. I knew then I had the chance, the offer, to go to a good college."
Martin will take his first trip to Auburn for the Tigers' Junior Day, March 27. He plans to get as much out of the visit as possible.
"I'm ready for that," he said. "I'm really looking forward to it. I want to see the campus, the whole environment, talk to the coaches and the players and just see how everything is.
"I want to go up there and check them out, get an overall feel for it."
Martin said the Tigers currently sit at the top of his list of favorites. He's also receiving interest from Ole Miss, Stanford, Louisville and Southern Miss, among others.
"I grew up pulling for Auburn," he said. "I always watched them on T.V. Right now, they are at the top. They've offered and I like them a lot."
At 6-2, 175, Martin claims a 4.48-second 40-yard dash, a 260-pound bench press max and 415-pound squat max.
