Boehm talks Auburn visit

Lee's Summit (Mo.) West four-star guard Evan Boehm was in Auburn over the weekend on an official visit.
It was the 6-foot-3, 290-pound Rivals250 recruit's first time on the Plains.

"It was a blast," said Boehm. "I had a lot of fun. It was my first official visit and I could not have asked for anything better.
"The coaches are great people and great coaches. The people in Auburn are really great. It was really fun."
Boehm and his family arrived in Auburn on Friday and stayed until Sunday. After arriving, it didn't take him long to see several faces he recognized.
"I got to see walk-throughs Friday morning, and on Saturday I saw the campus and (ESPN College) Gameday and then I saw Erin Andrews. That was a lot of fun.
"The football atmosphere is just nuts. Tiger Walk, I've never seen anything like that."
Boehm's player hosts on the visit were Vance Smith and Kiehl Frazier. Frazier, the true freshman quarterback, is from neighboring Arkansas.
"Kiehl and I have a lot in common," said Boehm. "He's up near where I'm from and he knows what the cold is all about. He said the weather at Auburn is phenomenal, and that is something to look forward to if I were to commit to Auburn.
"I also got to hang out with (Auburn quarterback commitment) Zeke (Pike) a lot. He's a great kid. It was just a lot of fun."
Following the visit, Boehm, who had been committed to Missouri until early last week, said Auburn moved up on his list of favorites, but doesn't plan to make another commitment anytime soon.
"Auburn has always been up there and they jumped into the picture even more," said Boehm. "Missouri is still up there. Iowa is coming back in. Oklahoma and Kansas State are jumping in. I'm excited to see who else will get back in."
Boehm has an official visit scheduled to Missouri Dec. 9-11.
"I will have three more officials after that and I will just see what happens," he said. "I'm pretty sure I will know before Signing Day."
