"It went good, real good. I hung out with some good guys. It was an experience that I'd never experienced before. It rained a little, but even still, it was a lot of fun. I've experienced everything at Auburn except for spending the night and just hanging out with the players. I got to do that this time. I hung out with Nosa Eguae. He's an awesome guy. There were a lot of other guys. Mario Fannin. They were all good guys. It wasn't a visit where you just went and talked to the coaches face-to-face, or talked to them and not interact with them. I could've done that on the phone. I went to Big Cat because there were some of the best players up there, and there were. It was good. I got to see Auburn more than just the football side of it.
"I love how they stress family. You can't stress that enough. Football is just football. It's what you know. It's what you have. It's like what Coach (Gene) Chizik said, football is what he does, but a father and husband is what he is. Football is just something that he is good at, but it doesn't run his life. And family isn't something they just use. It's not something they say for recruiting. All you have to do is go there and see that they are for real.
"Auburn is still up there. It's Auburn and Alabama. I don't want to put anything in order, but coming off of that visit, it's hard not to like Auburn. There isn't a leader, but those two schools are at the top. I'll be back at Auburn in the summer for a camp and again in the fall for a game or two. I'm still planning to announce at the Under Armour All-American Game (Jan. 7), but it depends on how I feel. I don't think anything will happen anytime soon, though."
Bruce Dukes, DB, Sandy Creek (Tyrone, Ga.)
"It went good. It was my first time at Auburn and it was even better than I thought it was going to be. I really liked it. My mom went with me and she really liked it, too. She really liked Auburn, and more specifically, she really liked talking to the cornerbacks coach (Phillip Lolley). They showed us around and we got to know the coaches, the players and other recruits. It went really good. The campus is nice and I really liked how they had everything organized. I liked everything. It was all really nice. Everybody was nice. It just seems like a good environment to be in. I'm really liking Auburn right now. They are in my top group, probably my top pick right now. I really liked it. I'm already talking to my mom about going back."
Gavin Rocker, DT, Sandy Creek (Tyrone, Ga.)
"It was a very entertaining weekend. We really didn't do anything football related. We had a bunch of games, a pie-eating contest, karaoke contest and all of that. It was basically just all of us bonding. In karaoke, our group got two 10s and two 9s. We did "Umbrella" by Rihana. We just had fun. It was all about relaxing and having fun. It felt good. I also got to talk a little with my uncle (Tracy Rocker) and Coach Chizik. They said they are going to be watching and keeping me posted. I like Auburn. It's a nice place. The visit really showed me that everything isn't football related. The players are real close in a family way."
Chris Landrum, LB, Sweet Water, Ala. - AU Commit
"Everything went good. I enjoyed it. My whole family went with me. Everyone liked it. It was different than any other visit. I really liked getting to talk to the players, the recruits and the fun activities we did. We had a lot of fun. I hung out with Cameron Newton and talked to him a little bit. Mario Fannin, I also talked to him. And I got to talk to a lot of the recruits. I liked that, getting to know them. It was a good time for us to just hang out. I'll be back in the summer for a basketball team camp. The visit made me feel even better about Auburn. I'm getting more comfortable at Auburn and I'm done with recruiting. I'm solid to Auburn."
