CARROLLTON, Ga. — There were a lot of standouts at the Under Armour Atlanta Camp earlier this month.

Even with some of the top 2026 prospects participating, 2027 edge defender Jabarrius "Chicken" Garror showed that he's one of the best in the nation regardless of classification. Following the camp, he earned an invite to the Under Armour All America Game in Orlando, Fla.

"I mean, that's what I came for," Garror said. "So I got what I wanted. Today overall was really great because I got what I wanted."

Garror made an early pledge to Alabama last July, but it hasn't stopped other programs from reaching out and inviting him on campus. Auburn hosted him last month, and the visit went well enough that Garror will continue entertaining the Tigers and listening to what they have to say.

"I mean, that visit was a good visit because, you know, I watched it," Garror said. "We went around the campus and watched the (Auburn basketball) game, and I got to talk with the coaches more than I did last time. So it was a great visit. You know, I'll be back up there to meet those coaches again."

Roc Bellantoni was brought on for a second stint at Auburn and is serving as the new edge coach following Josh Aldridge's departure for East Carolina.

"I feel like he's old in the game, and he knows what he's talking about," Garror said of Bellantoni. "So I feel like if I go under his organization and do what he's telling me to do, I feel like it's going to be a great way to better my game."

Auburn is one of several programs trying to pull Garror away from his Alabama pledge, as is Florida State and South Carolina to name a couple. He's looking to get back to the Plains at some point for another visit.

"Last time I went, you know, it was a good experience, and I'd like to be up there more just to see what they can offer," Garror said. "I see they got a lot of top guys at their college, and I feel like I should give them a chance to see what they got that can help me."

Auburn's signed back-to-back top 10 classes in 2024 and 2025, with in-state prospects making up a majority of those classes.

"They had a good signing class," Garror said. "A few from my area, like [Antonio Coleman], they had him and the running back. They had a few from my area, so I'd like to give them a chance to see what they got."
