Crisp County's (Ga.) Quay Walker will play in the SEC, or at least his top-five list indicates he will.

Walker, one of the top outside linebackers in the 2018 class, released a list of his top schools Wednesday on Twitter that included Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Florida.

Auburn has been recruiting Walker since his sophomore season and has been a mainstay in the linebacker's list of leaders. Walker has visited Auburn many times, the most recent being a junior day in March, and has built strong relationships with the coaches.

Walker is also a close friend and former teammate of Auburn defensive end signee Markaviest "Big Cat" Bryant. The two visited Auburn together throughout Bryant's recruitment.

The friendship could work in Auburn's favor. Bryant will report to Auburn in May.

“It kind of plays a big role where (Bryant) went," Walker said in March. "Y’all know I want to play with him.”

Walker isn't in a rush to make the decision. He plans to take more visits and announce his commitment after the season.
