Eleven of Auburn’s’ 21 high school commitments made the cut in the final Rivals250 ranking, which Rivals.com released on Thursday.

Quarterback Joey Gatewood and running back Asa Martin are the highest ranked of the Tigers’ commitments. The duo made the Rivals100 with Gatewood ranked No. 62 and Martin at No. 64.

Nine other commitments are ranked in the Rivals250, including four-star Coynis Miller. The defensive tackle jumped 69 spots to No. 118 thanks to an impressive outing earlier this month in Orlando, Fla.

“Miller had a steady week of practice at the Under Armour All-America Game, but in the game, he took it up a notch,” Rivals.com Southeast Recruiting Analyst Chad Simmons said. “He was very disruptive, he got consistent penetration and he showed his athleticism for a big man.”

Three of Auburn’s four wide receiver commitments are ranked in the Rivals250. Wide receivers Matthew Hill and Anthony Schwartz, both Under Armour All-Americans, are ranked in the top 200. Hill is ranked No. 146. Schwartz at 162. Seth Williams, a four-star recruit, is ranked No. 224.

Both of Auburn’s linebacker signees and two of the Tigers’ safety signees made the cut. Linebacker Michael Harris is ranked No. 197, linebacker Zakoby McClain is No. 215, safety Quindarous Monday is No. 203 and safety Jamien Sherwood is No. 228. Defensive end commitment Richard Jibunor is ranked No. 232.

Auburn’s lone junior college signee, defensive tackle Daquan Newkirk, is ranked No. 23 overall in the junior college rankings.

Of Auburn’s 10 high school signees/commitments not ranked in the final Rivals250, five are ranked four-star recruits: defensive end Kayode Oladele, cornerback Christian Tutt, offensive lineman Jalil Irvin, running back Shaun Shivers, running back/athlete Harold Joiner.

Auburn’s class, which has 22 total commitments and 17 four-stars, is ranked No. 7 in the country and No. 2 in the SEC (Georgia is ranked No. 1).
