AUBURN | More than 30 of Auburn’s top recruits are expected to attend Big Cat on Saturday, and if history is any indication, chances are at least one will commit.

Six of the previous eight Big Cats have produced a commitment, and four have produced at least two.

Auburn received commitments last year from cornerback Malcolm Askew and junior college running back Octavius Matthews, although Matthews ultimately signed with Kansas. The year before it was offensive tackle Calvin Ashley and wide receiver Elijah Stove.

The only two Big Cats that didn’t result in a commitment were 2014 and 2009.

The second Big Cat, which was held in 2010, prompted a commitment from quarterback Kiehl Frazier. The following year produced three commitments in four days: offensive lineman Shane Callahan on Saturday, the day of Big Cat, and defensive lineman Darius Philon on Monday and wide receiver Ricardo Louis on Tuesday.

Tight end Arshad Jackson committed after Big Cat 2012, but ended up signing with Ole Miss. Defensive back Nick Ruffin and tight end Jakell Mitchell both committed after 2013’s version of Big Cat.

Which of the 30-plus recruits visiting Saturday are most likely to join the list of Big Cat commits? Here's how I see it.
