AUBURN, Ala. | K.J. Britt and Tadarian "TD" Moultry, regarded by Rivals as two of the top linebackers in the 2017 class, are visiting Auburn Thursday.

Britt, his father, brother and cousin made the drive from Oxford and arrived in Auburn shortly before noon. Moultry, from Jackson-Olin, arrived mid-morning after traveling with coaches from his hometown of Birmingham.

“Me and (Moultry) have been looking forward to this visit,” Britt said. “We are like brothers.”

Britt and Moultry have developed a quick friendship despite the distance between their hometowns. The friendship is strong enough that the two already plan to sign with the same college, which both are scheduled to announce in August.

Thursday’s visit to Auburn, however, isn’t just a reunion.

“I want to hang out with the coaches,” Britt said. “I want to see them practice. It’ll be great having (Moultry) there with me.”

Rivals ranks Britt the No. 25 overall player in Alabama and Moultry the No. 16 outside linebacker.
