AUBURN | Hazel Green combo guard Kira Lewis arrived in Auburn on Saturday with four offers.

The sophomore standout left with five.

Lewis, who averaged 20 points per game as a freshman, added Auburn to his list of offers that already included UAB, Samford, Middle Tennessee State and Murray State.

“It felt great getting the Auburn offer,” Lewis said. “It’s my first high-major offer and I was excited, especially with it coming from a coach like Bruce Pearl.”

Lewis met with Pearl during the visit. He also spent time talking with each of Pearl’s assistants - Harris Adler, Chad Dollar and Chuck Person.

“I had a great time,” Lewis said. “I got there around noon, played pick-up games with the other recruits and players, and then I ate and visited around the campus and facilities.”

Lewis was impressed with each portion of the visit.
