Auburn and Bruce Pearl have landed a commitment from one of the country’s top big men.
Babatunde Akingbola, a four-star power forward from McEachern in Powder Springs, Ga., will sign with Auburn in April.
"The time has come for me to make a decision," Akingbola wrote on Twitter. "And I choose to further my career and education with Bruce Pearl and The Auburn Tigers."
Akingbola has reclassified from the 2019 class to the 2018 class.

Akingbola, who stands 6-foot-9 and weighs 215 pounds, committed to Auburn over offers from Georgia Tech, Memphis, N.C. State and Rutgers, among others.
Rivals ranks Akingbola the No. 109 overall player in the 2019 class.
