Isaiah Buggs will continue his college career at an SEC Western division school, but which one remains to be seen.

Buggs, a five-star defensive end recruit from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, released a top four Thursday night that included LSU, Auburn, Alabama and Ole Miss.

Buggs, who attended Ruston High School in Louisiana, previously planned to announce his commitment on Aug. 24. He elected to postpone his decision and now is eyeing a Signing Day decision.

Buggs could return to his home state by choosing LSU, a route many analysts believe he will take, but Auburn has become a serious challenger. Buggs visited Auburn twice during the summer, both of which were overnight visits, and he plans to return for the Clemson game on Sept. 3.

Buggs has denied he’s set on returning to Louisiana.

“Just because I’m from there doesn’t mean I’m going to go there,” Buggs said in July.

One of the main draws to Auburn is Buggs’ relationship with Rodney Garner. Auburn’s defensive line coach has recruited Buggs since the defensive end was in high school.
