AUBURN, Ala. | Auburn will look to rebound from a home loss against Mississippi State with a win against San Jose State Saturday at Jordan-Hare.

THIRD QUARTER:
San Jose State didn't waste anytime on it's opening second-half drive. Spartans' Tyler Ervin punched in a one-yard touchdown run to make it 21-14 after a seven minute drive. Rudy Ford got the Tigers rolling with a 58-yard kickoff return, and Peyton Barber converted a fourth-and-1 and scored his fourth touchdown of the game to put the Tigers back up by 14 points. He is the first Auburn player with four rushing touchdowns since Tre Masson v. Missouri in 2013. Auburn ended the quarter with a first down...

SECOND QUARTER:
San Jose State had Auburn on it's heels to start the quarter, but Rudy Ford forced a fumble, and Dontavius Russell recovered it to put the Tigers on their 42-yard line. But Auburn's offense could not move the chains, and Daniel Carlson missed a 55-yard field goal attempt. On the next drive, Montravius Adams forced a fumble on fourth-and-1, and Jonathan Jones recovered the ball on Auburn's 26-yard line. Duke Williams caught an 18-yard pass, his first of the game, and Ricardo Louis caught a 31-yard pass to push the Tigers into the red zone. Peyton Barber added a third touchdown run to his stat sheet and put Auburn up 21-7 to end the first half.

FIRST QUARTER:
Auburn had not scored a first-half offensive touchdown since the opening drive against Louisville. The Tigers quickly ended the drought thanks to a five-yard touchdown run by Peyton Barber. Blake Countess had a 61-yard kickoff return and also knocked the ball out on a tackle to give Justin Garrett an interception that set up the touchdown drive for Auburn. However, the Spartans converted on fourth-and-4 and found the end zone soon after to tie the game at seven. Roc Thomas had a 41-yard catch, and Peyton Barber capped off the drive with his second touchdown run of the quarter. Auburn's defense was able to keep San Jose off the scoreboard as the quarter expired...
