Recruits visiting AU before dead period begins

AUBURN | Three days remain before the recruiting dead period begins, and Auburn is expected to take advantage of the final visit days of the year.

Five-star recruit Alex Leatherwood, who is ranked the No. 4 offensive tackle and is committed to Alabama, is in Auburn until Friday for an official visit. Scottsdale (Ariz.) Community College tight end Sal Cannella will be on campus Thursday-Saturday.

At least six more recruits are scheduled to arrive Friday for official visits, including the Tigers' top two linebacker targets: Monty Rice and Tyler Taylor.
