AUBURN | Four-star athlete/wide receiver Matthew Hill returned to Auburn on Saturday for the first time since committing to the Tigers in August, and had a different feeling during the visit than he’d had on previous ones.

“It felt good because (Auburn) is home,” Hill said. “And I can officially say that now.”

Hill, a standout at Brookwood High in Snellville, Ga., was one of several recruits in attendance for Auburn’s 41-7 season-opening win over Georgia Southern. The Tigers amassed 535 total yards of offense and limited the Eagles to 78 total yards in the lopsided win.
