Something about some discomfort in his arm or hand. It was my bad for not linking the story. I had a brain fart. here ya go.

I wonder if there's any chance Minor could be the 4th starter (if he continues to pitch well), if needed in the playoffs. I don't see any reason 2 have Lowe as an option in the playoffs (baring injury), but I'm not the skipper.

I'd feel much better with Minor than I would KK or Lowe for sure. I gotta tell ya though, JJ has been a welcome surprise (to me anyway) that he's been solid of late. I still get nervous thinking about being in the playoffs with Lowe and/or KK and Hanson as the arms we have to lean on.
Those three are not doing well right now. They give up runs early and in bunches. It could get ugly when facing playoff caliber teams playing for a pennant.

Hanson has been a huge disappointment. I though he'd be lights out this year. Luckily Huddy is holding it down pretty good and JJ seems to be coming along. Hopefully at least one of the three can get it together and start rolling here at just the right time. All three including KK are a lot better than this. They just gotta go out, put on their big boy undies and get the chit done. Of course that's easy for me to say sitting here typing on a laptop. lol

On the flip side, the bats are getting hot. Heyward and Gonzo both are coming on, Mac is proving that this is indeed his team to lead while Prado and Omar have been straight up monsters, as per usual. Hope Lee will come charging up sooner rather than later. And last but not least, can we please not put Melky "MOLASSES" Cabrera in center? As a matter of fact, anywhere in the OF? If Rick Ankiel isn't starting let's put whoever is, weather it's Hinske, Diaz or even Brooks in right or left and move JayHay to center. He has both the arm and the speed. I understand Melky is a switcher but so is Brooks. Plus Conrad is faster and has the better stick at the plate iyam. It just gets old watching routine singles roll slowly past him for doubles and trips. Dude is slow... Too damn slow. lol

Sorry for the rant. lol

Man, u are way off base w/ Hanson. I'm going 2 link a page so u can scroll down & look @ how he has pitched over his last 10 starts, except 4 his last 2 starts. A lot of people on this board have considered his season a failure, & I'm not sure why. His run support has been terrible, & that's definitely not his fault.

JJ on the other hand, worries me. His #'s over his last 10 starts have been significantly worse than TH's (minus run support). Today he walked 6 batters & gave up 3 runs in 5 2/3 against a poor offense... he wasn't sharp @ all.

All of our pitchers need 2 pick it up (minus Hudson) if we're gonna make a run, but Hanson does not deserve the lack of faith he's receiving.

KK had hardly any run support in a lot of games too. But sometimes the pitcher has to step up. I mean if your team has to put up 4-5 runs everytime you pitch to get a win, there's a problem. Even the guys in the booth have commented on how bad he's been since the break. I am not slamming him at all, but sometimes games are gonna be close and those are the ones you have to win.

Everyone talks about Tommy saying no run support this and that. Look at the flip side. Has he given the bats any support as of late? It goes both ways. In no way am I saying he's not a good pitcher. As I said in my previous post, he's been a disappointment in my opinion. And it's just that, my opinion. And from what the guys in the booth have been saying, I aint alone. We all know he has great potential. Fact is he's just not showing it as of late and we need him right now if the Braves are gonna make a deep run. As far as JJ. He's been pretty damn solid. Sure last night he was off. But can you seriously say you'd rather have Hanson on the mound than JJ in a division deciding game against the Phills? Not me. Again, that is my opinion and yours may be different. I will not call you wrong about it either because it's your opinion. But I think JJ would be more reliable as of right now the way the two are pitching.

A little worried about JJ control.
