AUBURN, Ala. | Marcus Jenkins still has more than 30 months before he'll sign a National Letter of Intent.
But the 2018 offensive lineman from Parks Crossing in Montgomery, Ala., who goes by Tank, already has a handful of offers and a trio of early leaders.
"Auburn, Florida and LSU are probably the top three schools," Jenkins said.
Jenkins, 6-foot-4 and 305 pounds, visited Auburn Monday and left with the Tigers on top of his list.
"(Auburn) stands No. 1 for right now," he said. "I just love it. I love Auburn."
Jenkins visited with his mother. They toured the athletic facilities and campus, and spent a lot of time with offensive line coach J.B. Grimes.
Grimes' message to him?
"Life lessons," Jenkins said. "It was a nice visit, wonderful visit. I love it down here at Auburn. It's a great atmosphere."
Jenkins has offers from Auburn, LSU, Florida, Florida State and Kentucky. He doesn't plan to make a decision before at least a couple of more years.
"It's a blessing to have the good offers early but I just got to maintain what I do and work harder and just push myself," Jenkins said.
Jenkins plans to return to Auburn for a game early this fall.
