AUBURN | The Rundown returns on this Depth Chart Day with plenty of chatter about, you guessed it, the Tigers' first official depth chart since the BCS Championship.
There were some surprises.
Rudy Ford as the starting boundary safety? Can't say we didn't see it coming, but we're still surprised that Derrick Moncrief will begin his Auburn career as a reserve. Also, Stephen Roberts managed to snag the backup job at field safety without more than a few token mentions during fall camp.
Bryan, Jeffrey and Jay G. discuss the day's most intriguing personnel moves along with some chatter surrounding the Herculean efforts seen from Bruce Pearl and his staff last weekend. We also review our trips to see commits Tyler Queen and Richard McBryde last weekend.
We'd also like to welcome Davis Whitetails as title sponsor of The Rundown. They're Auburn people who are interesting in attracting Auburn people to their 600-acre preserve in Bibb County, Ala., for deer hunts this fall and beyond. Check out all they have to offer!
