AUBURN, Ala. | Call it the Travaris Robinson effect.
Texas commit and four-star safety Tim Irvin has plans to take an official visit to Auburn this weekend, according to a source close to the situation. He will arrive on Friday.
He was set to move to Austin on Monday, but has yet to arrive. Classes for Texas start on Jan. 20.
Auburn was a finalist for the Miami (Fla.) native when he announced his commitment to Texas during the Army All-American game on Jan. 4. Robinson was hired the day before.
Irvin had planned on being early enrollee for the Longhorns, and but it is unclear at this time if he would also enroll early at Auburn if he decides to flip his decision to the Tigers.
