Stidham signs with Auburn

Jarrett Stidham is an Auburn Tiger.

The former Baylor quarterback made it official on Wednesday by signing a National Letter of Intent with the Tigers.

"Officially a part of the family," Stidham released on his Twitter account. "Time to get to work."

Stidham will report to Auburn on Dec. 20 and participate in bowl practices. He will have three years of eligibility at Auburn beginning in 2017.

Stidham is the first mid-year transfer to sign with Auburn in the 2017 class. The Tigers also could receive a NLI from Scottsdale (Ariz.) Community College tight end Sal Cannella on Wednesday, the first day mid-year transfers can sign.

Cannella, who visited Auburn last Thursday-Saturday, will announce his decision around noon CT. Auburn, Texas and Maryland are the finalists. AuburnSports.com predicts Cannella will sign with Auburn.
