"It was my first time scrimmaging against college players and I had fun. I played well too so it was a good experience," Lewis said. "The campus is real nice. Their food after workouts and how they develop you as a player, that's good."
Lewis has already developed a close relationship with a couple of Auburn assistants -- Todd Golden and associate head coach Chuck Person.
"I like their coaching staff," Lewis said. "Coach Golden is real cool and Coach Person. Their team is pretty cool too and their campus is nice."
Lewis, 6-foot-4 and 170 pounds, has offers from Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Vanderbilt and Xavier. He plans to take his time making a decision.
"So far, I like all of them," he said.
Westlake is loaded with D-I prospects including 2017 power forward Chuma Okeke and Lewis' younger brother, 2018 guard Jamie Lewis.
"We're stacked right now, we're real stacked," Lewis said.
Lewis plans to return to Auburn for a football game later this fall.
