Rivals250 offensive guard Tyrone Crowder visited Auburn on Saturday. Crowder, the nation's No. 9 guard prospect, arrived in Auburn on Friday night and stayed through Saturday afternoon.
Crowder left impressed.
"It's a great program, I love what they are doing here. I had fun," Crowder said. "I have a great impression. Coach Chizik is one of the great coaches I've talked to. The whole program, everything, it was my first time, but everything stood out."
Crowder toured the Auburn campus and spoke with Gene Chizik. Crowder, from Rockingham (N.C.) Richmond County, also had the opportunity to speak with offensive line coach Jeff Grimes.
"He just told me to take the visit in, ask any questions and take my time making my decision. Don't rush it," he said.
The 6-foot-2, 315-pound Crowder claims close to 20 college offers. He plans to narrow his list to a top five soon and make a decision before his season starts. Crowder is confident Auburn will make the cut.
"I'd like to make a decision before my senior season starts," Crowder said. "Probably when I get back home I'll narrow it down to five. There's a great chance Auburn makes the cut."
Crowder visited Georgia on Friday night for 'Dawg Night'. Crowder is reluctant to name favorites, but claims high interest in Auburn, Clemson and Georgia.
