Carver (Columbus, Ga.) Rivals250 quarterback Jawon Pass doesn't have any doubts about how Auburn feels about him.
Not after Saturday's talk with Gus Malzahn and Rhett Lashlee.
"They told me that I'm the guy they want," Pass said "They told me that whenever I'm ready, it's all on me."
Pass, 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds, met with the two Auburn coaches Saturday morning. The night before, he spent time with the Tigers' quarterback and senior receiver.
"I came in last night and hung out with Jeremy Johnson and Duke Williams," Pass said. "They told me the coaches are going to be real, that the way they act when they recruit is the way they act all the time and that it's all about family here."
Pass left Auburn around noon and is traveling to Louisville for a visit. He'll visit Alabama next week. The three schools, along with Virginia Tech and North Carolina, make up his final five.
Pass plans to announce his commitment on July 13.
"I'm real high on Auburn," Pass said. "I just want to see and get a feel for my top five and then make a decision."
Rivals.com ranks Pass the No. 5 dual-threat quarterback, the No. 117 overall recruit and No. 14 player in Georgia.
