President plans Auburn visit

Wando (Mt. Pleasant, S.C.) three-star defensive lineman Gimel President is scheduled to visit Auburn this month.
It will be the 6-foot-3, 240-pound President's first trip to the Plains.
"I am going to visit Auburn July 22," President said. "I'm looking forward to it. All I really know about Auburn right now is their tradition, and I really like their tradition."
President hopes to find other things he likes about Auburn when he visits.
"I haven't seen the campus or anything," he said. "I'm going to do all of that when I'm down there. I want to tour the campus and the academic facilities and get to talk to the coaches."
One coach in particular, Mike Pelton, Auburn's defensive line coach and President's lead recruiter.
"I stay in contact with Coach Pelton. I actually talked to him last week," said President. "I've gotten to know him pretty well. He's a good coach. He's very knowledgeable. I like him."
Following his visit to Auburn, President said he plans to stop in Chapel Hill, N.C. to check out the Tarheels.
President claims offers from Auburn, North Carolina, South Carolina, Clemson, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Kentucky and Illinois, among others.
"I don't have any favorites right now," he said. "I want to take more visits before I narrow things down."
He hopes it won't take long to do that.
"I'll hopefully make my decision this summer…hopefully," President said.
As a junior, President recorded 82 tackles, nine sacks, an interception and two fumble recoveries. At 6-3, 240, he claims a 4.6-second 40-yard dash.
