President enjoys visit to AU

Wando (Mt. Pleasant, S.C.) defensive lineman Gimel President committed to Auburn in July and has been solid to the Tigers since.
An official visit to the Plains over the weekend did nothing to change that.

"It went good," said President. "I went out with the players. I had a good time with them. I also spent some time with all of the recruits and just had fun."
President, 6-foot-3, 240 pounds, was one of 10 prospects in Auburn on official visits. His player host was freshman defensive tackle Gabe Wright.
"I spent most of the time with Gabe," said President. "We hung out with a lot of the players and I liked that. I liked getting to know them because I will be there with them next year.
"I also liked the Tiger Walk. That was good. I can't wait until I get to do it."
President said he would not take any other official visits.
"I'm done," he said. "I'll be at Auburn in the summer."
Before he makes the move to the Plains, President will play in two all-star games.
"I'll be playing in the Shrine Bowl on Dec. 17 and then USA vs. The World on Signing Day," said President.
In 12 games his senior season, President had a team-high 75 tackles, 59 solos, 24 tackles for loss, five sacks, four quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
"I did pretty good," he said. "I got double- and triple-teamed a lot so I had to fight my way through those, but I did pretty good."
