Worth County (Ga.) power forward Anfernee McLemore visited Auburn in August for the Tigers' "Big Ballers Weekend," two days where a select group of top recruits all visited or camped at Auburn.
It was McLemore's first visit since committing to Auburn on Aug. 4.
"It went great. I was really happy to be back on campus," McLemore said. "I love it there, and also to be able to be around and play with the other guys, it was a lot of fun. I can't wait to go back."
He won't have to wait long.
McLemore, 6-foot-7 and 210 pounds, will return for an official visit next month.
"I set it up for the weekend of Halloween," McLemore said. "That should be a lot of fun. I'm ready to get back to Auburn and see everything again, see what it's like, the environment and atmosphere."
McLemore will get a chance to see both the basketball and football teams in action that weekend. The basketball team hosts Brevard College in an exhibition game on Friday, Oct. 30. The football team hosts Ole Miss the following day.
McLemore plans to sign with Auburn soon after his visit.
"I have closed off recruiting. I'm all Auburn," he said. "I'm signing Nov. 11."
McLemore carries a 4.0 GPA and averaged 19 points, 11.8 rebounds and 6.4 blocks per game as a junior.
