AUBURN, Ala. | Auburn 2018 quarterback commitment Joey Gatewood can’t see himself attending college anywhere but Auburn.

Gatewood, from Bartram Trail in Jacksonville, Fla., attended the Tigers’ A-Day game with his mother on Saturday and left as firmly committed as when he arrived.

“It was really fun. I loved it,” Gatewood said. “I loved everything about it. We got here (Saturday) and toured the facilities and then went to the game. The atmosphere was great. The fans are amazing. I enjoyed watching the game. We had a lot of fun.”

Gatewood focused his attention on Auburn’s quarterbacks during the game. He also kept an eye on the offense. Gatewood continues to feel it’s the right system for him to succeed.
