Naples (Fla.) running back Carlin Fils-aime will visit Auburn on Friday, the first of four schools the No. 14 running back plans to visit over the next two weeks.
Fils-aime, a speed back at 5-foot-11 and 175 pounds, will be accompanied on the visits by his parents.
"I'm really looking forward to finally seeing Auburn," Fils-aime said. "I've never been there and don't know much more than what I've seen from playing with them on NCAA 14.
"I think it's just a day trip, but I want to see everything they have to show me. I want to see it all."
Auburn running backs coach Tim Horton will be there to show Fils-aime most of it. The two have developed a good relationship since Horton, Rhett Lashlee and the Tigers began their pursuit.
"I talk to Coach Horton a lot," Fils-aime said. "He's a great guy."
Fils-aime and his parents will leave Auburn and visit Georgia on Saturday, July 18. The following week they'll visit North Carolina (July 21) and Tennessee (July 23).
"Auburn is pretty high," Fils-aime said. "I'm looking mostly at Auburn, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee."
Fils-aime hopes to have a decision before the end of the summer, and could announce one in August. If he knows it's the right one.
"I'd like to make my commitment by Aug. 1," he said. "But I'll delay it if I'm not ready."
