Rivals250 defensive tackle Antwuan Jackson has committed to Auburn.
The No. 10 defensive tackle in the 2016 class announced his decision Thursday during a ceremony at Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Ga. He also released it on his Twitter account.
"I want to thank God and all of the coaches who had faith in me to offer," Jackson said. "After a fun and also stressful recruiting process, my family and I have come to a conclusion. I'm proud to announce that for my 3-4 years of college, I will be a student-athlete at Auburn University."
Jackson chose Auburn after narrowing his list of offers to the Tigers, Ohio State and Georgia.
The four-star recruit visited Auburn several times over the past two years, including most recently for an official visit Dec. 11-13. Jackson isn't concerned with Auburn's current vacancy at defensive coordinator.
His relationship was more with Rodney Garner, the Tigers' defensive line coach.
Garner first offered Jackson as a freshman when Garner was the defensive line coach at Georgia. The two developed a close bond throughout the recruiting process that culminated Thursday with a commitment.
Jackson recorded 96 tackles as senior, 69 of which were solos, 10 were sacks and 52 of the tackles were for a loss. He also forced seven fumbles and recovered three.
Rivals.com ranks Jackson the No. 108 overall player in the 2016 class.
