The No. 8 player in Alabama will announce his college choice today.
Madison Academy four-star running back Malik Miller will choose either Auburn, Florida State, Alabama or Mississippi State during a ceremony at Madison Academy.
"Those are four schools that have stood out to me," Miller said. "I have visited all of the schools, talked to my family and most importantly prayed about it."
Miller, 5-foot-11 and 215 pounds, set the announcement date following a visit to Auburn for Big Cat on May 30.
"As far as recruiting, I feel like Auburn has done the best out of all of the schools," Miller said following Big Cat. "Everything has been answered. I know the good, … I know everything about Auburn."
He should. Miller has visited Auburn several times, as did his former teammate and 2015 Auburn signee Kerryon Johnson. The two teamed up last year to win a state championship at Madison Academy. The two could team up to try and win a championship at Auburn.
Johnson has done all he could do.
"Outside of (running backs coach/area recruiter) Coach Tim Horton, he's probably one of the best recruiters for them," Miller said after Big Cat.
Miller also considered offers from Georgia, Ole Miss and Arkansas, among others, before narrowing his list to four.
"I've talked to everybody that I needed to and I'm ready," Miller said last week. "I'm ready to make my commitment."
He'll do so at 3 p.m. CT.
"My goal is to sign a multi-million dollar contract in five years," Miller said. "I've disciplined myself. I've trained myself. I've grown up with that pro mentality on and off the field.
"I want to go to the place that I feel will give me the best opportunity to fulfill that goal."
Rivals.com ranks Miller the No. 22 athlete in the 2016 class.
