Malzahn, Craig visit Rivals100 WR commitment on 18th birthday
Elijah Stove played host to Gus Malzahn and Dameyune Craig on Thursday.
Auburn receiver commitment Elijah Stove spent the majority of his eighteenth birthday with his future head coach and position coach.
Gus Malzahn and Dameyune Craig both made the trip to Stove’s hometown of Niceville, Fla. for an in-home visit on Thursday.
“He really enjoyed it,” Langston Stove, Elijah’s father, said. “He spent all day with them.”
Elijah Stove took an official visit to Auburn last weekend. He left with plans to visit Florida on Friday and Miami next weekend. He no longer will visit Florida, but still has the Miami visit scheduled. New ‘Canes coach Mark Richt made an in-home visit with Stove on Wednesday.
Stove committed to Auburn in May and has remained solid since. His father doesn’t expect that to change before Signing Day.
“He’s going to stay with Auburn,” Langston Stove said. “We love the coaches there and we love it at Auburn.”
