Will Ignont is back at Buckhorn.

Rivals.com’s No. 2 inside linebacker in the 2017 class began classes at Buckhorn in his hometown of New Market, Ala. on Monday, nearly five months after transferring to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

“It feels great to be back home,” Ignont said. “I’m really looking forward to getting back out there with my teammates and playing my senior season."

Ignont, who is ranked No. 55 in the Rivals100, has been a star for Buckhorn since his freshman season. He's been a force for the Bucks on both sides of the ball.

Last year as a junior and before transferring to IMG, Ignont had 91 tackles, including 52 solos and six tackles-for-loss. He also rushed for 330 yards and four touchdowns on offense.

“I really missed home,” Ignont said. “I’m just glad to be back. I love our new coaches and I am looking forward to a big season.”
