Gus Malzahn needs defensive linemen, and he’ll be in Georgia on Thursday visiting with three of the country’s best.

Five-star tackles Rashan Gary and Derrick Brown and five-star end Antonneous Clayton each will receive a visit from Auburn’s fourth-year coach.

Malzahn won’t be alone during his travels. He’ll have with him new defensive coordinator Kevin Steele and defensive line coach Rodney Garner.

The three coaches will visit Gary in Atlanta as opposed to the No. 1 player’s hometown of Paramus, N.J. Gary is in Atlanta to receive the Bobby Dodd High School Football Player of the Year Award. He’ll leave Friday for Clemson, where he’ll spend the weekend on an official visit. Gary is scheduled to choose between Michigan, USC, Ole Miss, Auburn and Clemson on Wednesday.

Brown, who is ranked the No. 3 tackle, will visit Tennessee this weekend, two weeks after his Auburn visit and a week following a trip to Georgia. Brown will choose Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama or Mississippi State on Wednesday.

Clayton has been adamant that he will sign with Florida, the school to which he’s been committed since October. Auburn is visiting on Thursday in hopes of getting a visit from Clayton on Friday.

Malzahn is expected to remain on the road for the first part of Friday. Auburn is scheduled to play host to a handful of official visitors this weekend, but Malzahn, Steele and Garner will first meet with four-star defensive end commitment Nick Coe.
