Williams, 5-foot-9 and 175 pounds, received an offer from the Tigers on Thursday and announced the news on Twitter.
Williams now has offers from Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Florida State, Michigan and Wisconsin, among others.
Williams had a big season on both sides of the ball as a sophomore in 2014. On offense, he rushed for 700 yards and eight touchdowns and caught 35 passes for 452 yards and five scores. Defensively, he finished with 60 tackles and two interceptions.
Auburn is recruiting several players from Archer, including Williams and cornerback Isaiah Pryor, both 2017 recruits. In the 2016 class, Auburn has offered Rivals100 OT E.J. Price, Rivals250 WR Kyle Davis, three-star safety Dylan Singleton and linebacker Donta Evans, and also is recruiting three-star defensive tackle Kobe Smith, who is committed to N.C. State.
