Georgia punter commits to Auburn

Auburn has picked up its third commitment in the 2013 recruiting class as Harrison (Kennesaw, Ga.) punter Jimmy Hutchinson announced on Tuesday his intentions to sign with the Tigers.
"I verbally committed to Auburn University," Hutchinson said. "It feels great."

Hutchinson, 6-foot-2, 175 pounds, informed Auburn coach Gene Chizik and lead recruiter/special teams coordinator Jay Boulware of his decision.
"I called and talked to them on the phone and they were very excited," said Hutchinson. "They said they are happy I'm on board."
Hutchinson received an offer from Auburn two weeks ago and made an unofficial visit to the Plains this past weekend.
"After this last visit, I knew Auburn was where I wanted to go," said Hutchinson. "It was more personal and I just loved everything.
"Auburn has great people, great tradition, it's SEC football and it feels like home. Coach Boulware is a great coach and a great person. I'm looking forward to working with him."
As a junior, Hutchinson said he averaged nearly 40 yards per punt and downed 15 punts inside the opponent's 20-yard line.
Hutchinson joins Rivals100 linebacker Trey Johnson and Rivals100 defensive lineman Dee Liner in Auburn's 2013 recruiting class.
