AUBURN | Carrollton (Ga.) offensive tackle Case Cook visited Auburn on Saturday for Junior Day. It was Cook’s first time in Auburn.

The 6-foot-5, 290-pound Cook, joined on the trip by his father, spent the day touring the campus and meeting the coaches.

“I really like (Auburn OL) Coach Herb Hand,” Cook said. “I like him a lot. I liked the visit. I really enjoyed it.”

Cook has several early offers, but has yet to receive one from Auburn. That could change in the coming months.

“They’re telling me they want to look more at me in the spring and make a decision based off that,” Cook said. “They said I could play all five (offensive line positions).”

Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Penn Sate, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Cincinnati and Miami, among others, already have offered Cook.

“Everyone is kind of equal,” he said. “I’ll try and make a decision before my senior season, but I don’t want to rush anything. If I don’t know the right one, I’ll wait.”
