Deerfield Beach (Fla.) athlete Brandon Powell visited Auburn on Friday.
The 5-foot-9, 170-pound speedster claims an Auburn offer and left his visit with the Tigers on top.
"I really love Auburn, getting up here to see the campus, it's everything I've heard. I love the campus up here and I'd have a great opportunity. I really love Auburn right now," said Powell.
In addition to Auburn, Powell claims offers from California, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, South Florida, LSU, Nebraska, North Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia and more.
Powell spent time with running backs coach Tim Horton and offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee, plus Auburn newcomer and Florida-native Marcus Davis
"I know Marcus Davis and he was telling me a lot before I got up here. He said he's getting along good up here. Coach Horton and Coach Lashlee, I've been talking to them all day today, those are cool coaches I can get along with," Powell said.
In Powell, Auburn sees another potential Onterio McCalebb. A speed back with elusiveness and the ability to fit within the high-tempo attack.
"I like the spots they've been saying they would put me at," Powell said. "The slot, running back, sprinting me out, I really like that. I have high interest in Auburn."
Powell will visit Tennessee on Saturday, then Kentucky, then in two weeks he will visit North Carolina and Wake Forest before his end of July decision.
"I"m just looking to be comfortable with the school and the coaches and players, that's it, that's all I'm looking forward to," said Powell.
Powell ran a 4.45 at the Miami camp last week. During his junior season, Powell rushed for 1,180 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns, while notching 247 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
