Feeling the love

AUBURN | Snow College (Ephraim, Utah) offensive tackle Garett Bolles made his first visit to Auburn on Saturday, but it won't be the four-star's last.
Bolles, 6-foot-6 and 310 pounds, plans to return to Auburn for a game in the fall, and possibly again next spring after he makes it his new home.
"It went really good," Bolles said. "It's a great opportunity to be in the SEC at a school like Auburn and feel the love they have for me. Being all the way from Utah, it was great to be here and feel the love and see how the big boys play."
Bolles, who was one of 35 recruits at Big Cat, already was familiar with Auburn having family friend Chandler Cox on the roster. The long-standing relationship between Bolles and Cox, which dates back to Cox's childhood days in Utah, could be a big factor in Bolles' decision.
"It's big. He's a big family friend," Bolles said. "He's told me that it's a family atmosphere here. Family is all united as one and I like that and saw that during my visit. That's a big thing.
"I have a great relationship with Chandler. Having the relationship I have with him and talking once a week and seeing how good he is, there's a great chance that I could come here."
It also doesn't hurt that Auburn, specifically offensive line coach J.B. Grimes, made it known during Bolles' visit that he's a top priority for the Tigers.
"The love that they have, the love that they showed to me, that's a big thing to me," Bolles said. "Seeing what they have for me, seeing what they have to offer, seeing what the true colors are of the coaches out here, that's a big thing.
"(Coach Grimes) is the same dude every day. He has the same attitude every single day and that's big to me. I like guys that are genuine guys."
Bolles has offers from Auburn, Alabama, Ole Miss, Arizona State, Arkansas, BYU, Florida State, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas State, Oregon, Utah and Oregon State, among others. He listed Auburn, Arizona State, Alabama and Ole Miss as a few of his top choices.
Bolles, a former BYU commit, visited Alabama before arriving Friday in Auburn.
"I am going to visit some other schools," he said. "I'll take my time, take my visits and make my decision later this year. There are some schools in the Pac 12 and others in the SEC. Those are the two conferences I'm looking at."
Bolles is scheduled to graduate from Snow College in May 2016 with three years to play two.
