Four-star Luke Cothron, the No. 11 power forward and No. 45 overall player in the country, according to Rivals.com, will make a final decision Wednesday between Auburn, Kentucky, UConn and Tennessee.
The 6-foot-8, 210-pound Cothron will announce his commitment to one of the schools "around noon". He plans to sign a National Letter of Intent (NLI) next week in his hometown of Huntsville, Ala.
"I feel like I'm ready to announce my choice," Cothron said. "I feel like I know where I want to go, but I want to sleep on it and think about it one more time."
Cothron, currently at Flora Macdonald Academy in Red Springs, N.C., previously planned to sign the NLI this week. He made those plans following a half-day trip to Auburn Saturday, but has since had to postpone.
"I'm just going to announce which school I'll be signing with, making a commitment," he said. "I'll go to Huntsville next week and sign. I want to be with my family when I sign and I couldn't do that this week."
Cothron, previously committed to N.C. State, averaged 30 points and 13 rebounds as a senior.
