Offers: “I only have one, Auburn was the first. It feels great to get that first offer from a big school like Auburn. It just motivates me to grind harder and stay focused on my grind and get better. It means a lot to me because I know a lot of schools have been saying that I am too skinny and they have to wait.

"When Auburn pulled that trigger it really motivated me. Now I can really get back to the grind. They’ll always be top up there because Auburn is a great school.”

Auburn visit: "I saw how they practice, how their coaches interact in practice. I seen how the coaches are so interactive with the kids and how they love them and love to protect them and feed them and stuff like that.”

AU DB coach Greg Brown: “We had a long conversation about different things and where I’m from and where he’s from. I feel like me and Coach Brown connected with the amount of time we had.”

On Auburn: “What stands out to me is how much the coaches actually care for their players, how they treat them even when it doesn’t have anything to do with football. It’s how they treat them. They want to take care of them and protect them. It’s just family.”

Auburn: "I love it up here. It's real nice. I like that it's a small city. It's a great hometown feel. It's very close to home."

Early favorites: "Not really. I haven't made all the visits I want to make yet, so I still want to make those before I make any decisions."

AU OL coach Herb Hand: "We're really close. He got here, my first time here was his first couple weeks here, so we've been talking off-and-on since then."

Recruiting the hardest: "Probably Auburn, Georgia, Clemson and Ohio State."

Biggest factors in decision: "Basically being comfortable wherever I'm at because I know I have three or four years there. I need to be comfortable with my surroundings and have a good relationship with coaches."
