Aycock dismissed from team
Auburn redshirt freshman running back Dontae Aycock has been dismissed from the team for violation of team rules, the University announced Friday.
Aycock, 5-foot-10, 220 pounds, signed with the Tigers in 2009 out of Chamberlain High in Tampa, Fla. He redshirted last season at Auburn and finished the spring No. 2 at tailback behind Mario Fannin.
As a senior in high school, Aycock, playing quarterback, rushed for 1,406 yards and 28 scores and completed 77-of-152 passes for 1,491 yards and 17 touchdowns. Rivals.com rated Aycock a four-star prospect and one of the top 200 recruits in the country.
