AUBURN, Ala. | Jeremiah Holloman and several Newton (Covington, Ga.) teammates visited Auburn on Friday, and the Tigers took advantage of the opportunity, particularly with Holloman.

Holloman, who is one of Auburn’s top receiver targets in 2017, left the visit with the Tigers among three schools that currently stand out.

“I really enjoyed myself at Auburn,” Holloman said. “Auburn is definitely standing out to me now. Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee are the ones that are standing out.”

Holloman spent the day in Auburn touring the campus, facilities and meeting with the coaches, including Auburn’s first-year receivers coach Kodi Burns.

“I got the chance to sit down and talk to the coaches individually,” Holloman said. “They told me how I fit in there and how they could use me on offense. Coach Burns is a great person. He’s a young guy, but I could tell he could help develop me into a good player. He knows what he’s talking about for sure.”

Holloman, who stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 190 pounds, plans to return to Auburn before the start of the season.

“I’ll be at Tennessee next weekend and I’ll be back to Auburn for sure,” Holloman said. “The facilities are great and the coaches there are great people. They are looking forward to building me as a young man and football player. They are people I am comfortable with. I felt comfortable the whole time I was there.”
